The AGM and Scientific Conference of the VOA

Scientific Session - 2.00pm-6.00pm

Personnel have sanctioned a half days annual leave to attend this scientific session.

Saturday 5^th April 2003

            a) Golf Competition at Esker Hills Golf Club  (Ladies and Gents)

                        Tee reserved:   9.00 to 10.45am.

b) Bus trip to Birr Castle, Science Museum/ Telescope/Gardens

AGM - 2pm for 2.30pm (Tea/Coffee provided)

8.30pm – Gala Dinner and Dance  (Dress informal)

Venue:

The newly built Bridge House Hotel and Leisure Club enhances the reputation of the  well known hostelery. It now offers top class en-suite rooms, swimming pool and  gymnasium. It is located in the centre of the town across the street from the new shopping centre complex.

Cost:  

A package deal of €145 per person sharing is available to those attending. This includes two nights B&B plus the gala dinner on Saturday night. The same package for a single room will cost €165.  Double room, one night B&B, €75. Single room for one night B&B, €65. The cost of the gala dinner will be €30 per person and tickets will be available at the hotel reception

A limited number of rooms have been reserved for the VOA members. You should book directly with the hotel and early booking is advisable.
